Meet the team: Kathryn Worthington

Kathryn studied Drama and Theatre Arts at Goldsmiths College, University of London. During her degree she worked at Theatre Peckham in Southwark where she learnt hands on arts management and gained her Equity card. After training at at the Birmingham School of Acting she was a professional actor for ten years and also worked administratively for several arts organisations. Between 2011-2014 Kathryn was Festival Director of the 24:7 Theatre Festival, a development platform for new theatre makers in Manchester and immediately prior to joining Counterculture she was General Manager for Full Circle Arts, an inclusive organisation supporting disabled artists.

Kathryn has been studying Law part time since 2008: she has a first class LLB from Northumbria University and completed her Legal Practice Course at MMU in 2016. She is delighted to be able to join her arts experience and legal training together at Counterculture as their new Trainee Solicitor.
